Research and Development
The NASLI products are used in the research of the effect
of full spectrum lighting, that has been launched in central Europe
several years ago. The experience of our customers is an irreplaceable
source of information and inspiration. We have been collecting and
processing the experience of our customers since 2006.
The field of sources of light has changed rapidly in the last couple of years.
New types of sources have emerged, traditional sources are pushed towards
better and better parameters and as a result of the EC "bulb" directive,
the situation on the market is changing as well. Luminaire design follows
the light source change with a short delay.
The main stream in light sources is focusend on efficiency nowadays.
We at NASLI focus on quality of light. We study hundreds of articles
from the research of light sources, luminaires and ballasts, but also
from the are of how light works in physiology, anatomy and psychology.
We work with laboratories and manufacturers from several countries and continents.
Our objective is to optimize the traditional light sources for colour
quality, but also to develop new light sources and luminaires with
colour rendering better than the market mainstream.
We have equipped our own laboratory for testing our own products and
for developmnent and evaluation. We can measure power spectral density
and calculate Tc and Ra from the spectra measured.
In this way, we can verify the colour quality of our own products or
we can compare other manufacturers' products.
